Warranty & Jewelry Care

Lifetime Warranty & Jewelry Care

  • Lifetime warranty on the metal — we guarantee your piece is made of 100% sterling silver (ALE S925).

How to care for your jewelry:

  1. Remove your jewelry before washing your hands or showering.

  2. Avoid exposing your jewelry to abrupt temperature changes.

  3. Contact with agents like perfume, salty air, sulfur, skincare creams, hairspray, chlorine, or acidic body pH accelerates tarnishing.

  4. Store your jewelry away from sunlight and heat—or in its protective box. Avoid plastic bags, which can speed up tarnishing.

  5. Don’t wear your jewelry while showering, sleeping, or exercising.

  6. To clean, use a small amount of mild (pH-neutral) liquid soap in warm water and a soft brush. If heavily soiled, soak for about 10 minutes, then rinse and dry with a soft, clean cloth.

Care for Gold-Plated or Rose-Gold Jewelry (No warranty applies)

  • Remove before washing—some soaps or gels may affect the plating.

  • Avoid contact with household cleaners (e.g., chlorine, detergents) and cosmetics—makeup, hairspray, perfume, creams. Apply these products and wait a few minutes before wearing your jewelry.

  • Sweat can damage the plating—remove jewelry during exercise and sleeping due to sweat and pH exposure.

  • Avoid abrupt temperature changes, sunlight, heat, and humid storage environments. Store pieces individually or in compartments to prevent scratching or tangling.

  • Over time, the gold plating will wear off, leaving sterling silver beneath. Clean gently with a soft cloth dampened with soap and water to avoid damaging the metal. Limit cleaning frequency for plated pieces.

  • No warranty or exchanges for plated pieces—proper care is the customer's responsibility.

Jewelry with Gemstones

  • Ideal for occasional wear only.

  • On receipt, check your pieces carefully. If a stone falls out, exchanges are not allowed (due to factors like moisture weakening the adhesive, impacts, heat, household chores, or snagging on clothing).

  • If a stone falls out, don’t worry—it doesn’t mean the piece is ruined. You can have stones reset at an affordable price at your local jeweler.

Bracelet Clasps

  • Upon receipt, verify that your bracelet opens and closes properly. Clasps are delicate and not covered under warranty, as damage usually results from mishandling.

  • Common causes of damage include snagging on clothes, applying outward pressure, mishandling, or forcing closure when improperly aligned.

  • We recommend purchasing a safety chain for your bracelet—it can save your investment if the bracelet ever falls off.

Exchanges (for Size, Defect, or Warranty Claims)

  • Home delivery is charged separately from the jewelry or exchange fee. If you want to exchange or return due to size, defect, or under warranty, you must pay for shipping in both directions. You may choose to pick up or send a trusted person if you’d prefer not to pay.

  • Except when we make an error, we do not cover shipping costs.

  • We do not process exchanges if you are outside Santo Domingo—unless there’s an error on our part—due to current logistical limitations.

Custom Charms

  • Avoid getting wet or exposing to humidity.

  • Avoid contact with chemicals—body creams, perfumes, detergents, and everyday products.

  • Avoid exposure to very high temperatures.
